Why We Started

A small way to show up

We founded Bloom Cycle to support and encourage people in our community who may be facing a difficult time. Our mission is to bring joy, hope and healing through programs built around sustainability and creative enrichment.

Our non-profit registration with the State of Colorado is complete, so this is only the beginning. In our first phase we are concentrating on rescuing single-use event flowers and surplus flowers and re-purposing them for the organizations that serve our community: social services agencies, hospitals, and children’s and elder care programs.

A handful of organizations are already lined up to receive flowers, and they are as excited as we are. Everyone knows how a few flowers can lift a day, especially when some days are heavier than others. We are glad to support them in whatever small way we can.

For Vendors and Planners

Florists, planners and venues: we need you

In the same spirit, we are looking for flower vendors, wedding and event planners, and venues in the Denver Metro area who would be willing to pass on their used or surplus flowers. We take care of the coordination and the pick-up so that it costs you as little effort as possible. One-off donations and regular arrangements are equally welcome.

Bloom Cycle is a fully registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are happy to provide a written acknowledgement of your in-kind donation for potential tax deductions.

Hi, we are Judy and Kim

We are Colorado residents who simply want to give back to our communities and spread as much joy and hope as we can.

Judy

Judy is the creative heart of the project. She is a painter and artist who has always loved arranging flowers for friends and family.

Kim

Kim is creative in her own way. She is learning arranging from Judy and makes sure our partner organizations feel loved and seen, through smooth logistics.

We both have full-time careers and families. Bloom Cycle is our passion, and it is what we choose to do with our free time. We hope you will join us. Let’s build something beautiful together.
